sendVee sending multiple follower emails from the same person. Just got 10 emails notifying me about the same follow.

Add the date/time of the user's tweets shown in the email.
Sometimes I choose not to follow someone if I can see they tweet 900 times a day - it would be nice either to see the timestamp on their latest tweets shown, OR to have some sort of average tweets/day metric shown in the email.

Absolutely. But as you probably know, OAuth is not available to everyone yet. But it’s on my radar and I’m preparing sendVee to be ready when OAuth is. Thanks!

Allow user specified formula to determine auto-followback
Random idea that may not fit with what you plan, but I would love to be able to make a formula for auto-following someone back. Like (Followers > 100) AND (Followees < Followers) AND (ReTweets < 50%)
Or some such nonsense like that. People who meet the criteria are auto-followed back. People who meet part are sent for me to eyeball. People who miss entirely are just ignored.

I’m all over this actually and it IS in my plan. I appreciate you bringing it up. In fact, I have alluded to this on the hope page of sendVee.com (I know too much text and nobody is going to read it) But I’m setting up some formulas, and you can choose your tolerance level. At least that’s what I’m thinking now. I’m also thinking when I get digests going, you can choose to get a digest of rejected followers, and/or a summary. But I’m all about choice, everything will be a choice by you. Thanks!

add option to block new follower
When the email rolls in that I have a new follower, I can reply to the email to follow back. But at least 50% of the time, what I'd rather do is block (because the follower is spamtastic). Is there a way you could add a clickable hyperlink to the block action? That would make sendVee so very awesomely useful I might have to cry tears of joy.

I can do this. Putting it on the list. I actually have a form of this in my notes in the form of replying to the email with the word “spam” to both flag as spam from other. But taking it one step further to block is a delicious idea. Thanks!

create option to allow us to auto-follow
I would like to be able to auto-follow people based on phrase rather than just single keyword. Sent in twitterperch opensource code to you before.

Auto Unfollow
Ability to automatically drop people that have unfollowed you. I find this helps to manage the people that followed you just so you might follow back.

RSS feed of new followers.
This is from my friend Ron Ploof, but I love it. An RSS feed of followers with link a link to follow. This will take a little thought, but I think a secret RSS feed could be safe enough.

Auto Unfollow by Time
I just discovered TwitterMass that has a cool unfollow feature. It will unfollow people that have not followed you in X days. You can set the days.

Add a note if I am already following a new follower
I just got a sendVee "new follower" notice for a user I am already following, but the text still says "Simply reply ... to follow back." 'Twould be lovely if it said "You are already following @username".
(I've noticed some inconsistencies in the Twitter API returning the correct "following" info in the show.json|xml call lately though - could be that's the problem?)

Yes, this is the Twitter, API. Sometimes it comes back that you are not following someone that you actually are. Very frustrating. Sorry about that.

Twitter: 'this is not a valid email address'
FYI & not your fault, but current part of user experience:
When I went to my Twitter profile & added the sendVee email address, Twitter came back with the 'this is not a valid email address' error. I put my old email address back and then tried again. Twitter accepted the sendVee email address on the second try (and I did not recopy it, I pasted the exact same clipboard as the first try). Weird. You may hear it from less persistent users in the future.

Yes indeed! Thanks for adding this, Mr. or Ms. Anonymous. It is indeed in the works. In fact, I was hoping to have it released already, but being that it still is in the works, is by definition, not released yet. soon-ish
